Lyon is the second largest city in France and is usually a one or two night stop on some European tours.

The city is, without question, the food capital of France and is considered one of the best cities in the world for food and restaurants.

If you want to try famous French foods like escargot (snails), frogs legs, burgundy beef, duck l’orange, pate, mussels and fries, tripes as well as deserts like crepes, creme brule and a mouth watering selection of tarts and pastries, Lyon is most definitely the place to go.
