Sorrento

Sorrento is a small but beautiful town perched atop the cliffs overlooking the azure blue of the Mediterranean Sea on the south west coast of Italy. The whole region is one of surreal natural beauty that meshes with the laid back Mediterranean culture of southern Italians to create an atmosphere of carefree bliss that is hard to describe.

Other famous towns and sights in the region include the famed Amalfi Coast, Naples, Salerno, Pompeii and the town of Positano while Sorrento and Naples also act as gateways to the almost mythical beauty of the Isle of Capri, home of the Blue Grotto.
